The SC 14u Storm Chasers lost in the finals of the Arcola Tournament to the Illinois Black Sox 10-0. SC could only muster 1 hit, a double from Trevan Sidwell. The right hander also worked 3 innings on the mound allowing 3 runs before Ian Jones came in, and he took the loss in his 3 innings of work.
SC opened the tournament Saturday with a pair of wins beating Arsenal 10-9 and Yardgoats 8-4. Then on Sunday they opened with a 11-10 win over Arsenal before falling to the Black Sox.
