At the Little League Complex in Major’s Softball, Landers beat Bandy’s 15-1. Kinslei Parrish had 3 this and scored twice, Chelsey Haines 3 hits and 3 runs along with Brylee Carter. Samara Simmons added 2 hits and a pair of runs.
T&K Title beat Marion County Savings Bank 7-5. In the win, Brylee Pennypacker homered, Caitlynne Bryan and Abby Gore each had a pair of doubles, Katee Sellers scored a run along with Abigail Thompson, Bryan, Pennypacker, Rylee Wilson, Gore and Marisa Reyes-Tiburcio. Thompson pitched and struck out 8. In the loss, Talya Gowler scored 3 runs, Shelby Johnson and Kaolin Lewis each scored. Lewis pitched and struck out 4.
In Baseball Majors, Bud’s Minor League beat Americana 3-2 in the final inning with Jacob Butts coming up with a big hit and scoring the winning run. Benny Bryan had 2 hits and 2 runs. Huck Mulvany and Jax Schaubert both were strong on the mound combining for 11 strikeouts.
Rotary beat IGA 10-6. Zane Applegate was the winning pitcher striking out 9 and allowing 3 hits. Kai Graham got the 2-inning save with 4 strikeouts. Jackson Ward doubled, Kai Graham singled twice with Applegate adding a single along with Parker Lewis, Trenton Shelton and Robbie Petrea. Logan Butts struck out 9 in the loss in 3 innings. He also hit a long home run. Avery East doubled in the loss.
