In Little League girls Major’s softball it was Landers over Dairy Queen 7-1. In the win, Hendrix Bratcher had 2 hits, scored twice and drove in a run. Chelsey Haines, Alicea Patrick and Trish McKenle had a hit and a run each.
Modern Woodmen beat T&K Title 12-9 with no other information turned in.
In baseball Major’s, Lions beat IGA 9-3 for their first win of the season. Scout Puricelli set the tone on the mound striking out 7 and only allowing 1 hit through 4 innings. He also contributed at the plate with a hit and RBI. Rhett Starnes came in to pitch the final two innings striking out 2 and allowing just 2 hits. He also had a hit and drove in a run. Walker Crank went 3-4 with a double and 3 RBI, Walker “Splash” Sherwin and Landon White both had 2 hits and drove in a run and Caleb Squibb added a hit and RBI.
Bud’s Minor League beat Rotary 2-0. Jax Schaubert and Jared Crompton had 2 hits. Benny Bryan got the win on the mound going all 6 innings and striking out 9.
