The Summer High School Baseball League continued last night as Salem earned a win over Pinckneyville 19-4. The Cats trailed 4-1 after 2 but scored 4 times in the 3rd and then 3 more in the fourth with 9 runs plated in the 7th as Salem pounded out 22 hits. Noah Nix and Kameron Wilkins homered. Wilkins drove in 4 with 3 RBI from Gavin Zimmermann, Aden Susmena and Josh Powless. Nix and Drew Davis drove in 2 with Nick Gregg adding an RBI. Griffin Day went 5 innings allowing 6 hits and no earned with Nix getting the final 2 innings of work.
In the 2nd game, Salem earned a 4-0 win. Jalen Inlow doubled home 2 runs with Day and Zimmermann also driving in runs.
