The Salem 9u split their double header on Saturday with Aviston falling in the opener 6-3. Salem fell behind early and couldn’t mount a comeback. Weston Crouse was on the mound for Salem allowing 4 hits and 3 runs over an inning with 2 strikeouts. Maxsen Tiemen, Izac Holsapple and Brody Brubaker each worked in relief. EJ Wolfe and Isaac Knapp had multi-hit games for Salem.

Salem won the 2nd game 13-6. Isaac Knapp drove in 4 on the day. Brody Brubaker and Jacob Butts drove in 3 runs each, Brooks Heinzman and Zachariah Jones added RBI along with Tieman.
