In Little League Majors at the Complex, Rotary beat Lions 10-6 with Zane Applegate getting the win on the mound striking out 6. At the plate for Rotary, Kai Graham doubled 3 times, Jaxon Ward added 2 doubles with a hit from Trent Shelton and Applegate. For Lions, Kolby Hempen had a hit with 2 hits from Rhett Starnes and a double from Walker Crank.
IGA beat Americana 11-5. Archer Bechdoldt went 4-5 for IGA. The game was tied at 3 in the fourth when Damon Jennings doubled to score a run to give IGA the lead. Vince Krajefska and Kameron Slater also drove in runs. Colton Tockstein drove in a 3 for Americana.
In boys coach pitch, Gold Link & Diamond Center beat Boulder Chevy 4-1. In the win, Braxton Harrishad 3 hits, Easton Keller, Austin Burge and Ryker Tolka also scored. For Boulder Lewis Eddy had an RBI, Logan Howe scored and Brady Carroll, Carson Phillips and Logan Howe had 2 hits each.
In softball junior league, Marion County Savings Bank nipped T&K Title 3-2. Bria Murray was the winning pitcher with 16 strikeouts! She also added a hit, run and RBI at the plate. Jalya Gowler hit a triple, Kaolin Lewis and Emma Jones both doubled. In the loss, Abigail Thompson had 13 strikeouts. Katee Sellers led the offense with 2 hits and scored a run. Bella Winchester had a triple and Kenley Cripps and Abby Gore each singled.
Landers beat Bandy’s 10-1. Abigail Westman had 2 hits and 2 RBI, Maxlyn Maciejowski 3 hits, 3 runs and 2 RBI, Kinslie Parrish had a pair of hits and 2 runs with an RBI, Samara Simmons 3 hits and a run with Trish McKenzie adding 3 hits and a RBI. Alicea Patrick was the winning pitcher.
