Salem Police say all four persons in the two vehicles involved in a rear end crash on West Main at Delmar Avenue escaped serious injury on Friday night.

Police reports indicate a car driven by 53-year-old Dakota Wyers of North Miller in Salem ran into the rear of an SUV driven by 26-year-old Daryl Lyday of Wortby Street in Salem that was stopped at the red light on West Main.

Both drivers and two passengers in the Lyday vehicle, 41-year-old Amanda Lyday of West Chestnut in Odin and a 15-year-old Odin male juvenile, were checked on the scene by United Medical Response but declined hospital treatment.

Salem Firemen were also called to the scene.

The crash occurred at 8:14 Friday night.
