Two O’Brien, Florida residents were injured in a one-vehicle crash Friday night on Interstate 57 southbound at the 124-mile marker six miles north of the Salem exit.

State Police say 40-year-old Tammy Butcher was driving a pickup truck pulling a U-Haul trailer when the left rear wheels came off.  That resulted in Butcher losing control and the vehicle overturning on the right side of the road.

Both Tammy Butcher and a passenger, 63-year-old Paul Butcher of O’Brien, Florida were transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.

The crash occurred at 7:07 Friday night.
