The CJHS summer school started yesterday and the first day was an overwhelming success, with more than 50 participating teachers and support staff and 135 active students.
CJHS is using i-Ready and GoGuardian computer software systems to monitor student progress.
Principal Kim Emrick stated that they are able to look at the data of the students that were in summer school and really tailor their education based on their needs.
I truly hope to be in the classrooms, co-teaching and hopefully help me get to know the students on a better level.”
Emrick also thanked the Board for their help in giving all students enrolled in summer school the necessary devices and additional hotspots.
The district ended the school year with an enrollment of 1106 students. That’s down from 1,175 at the end of last year.
