Linda Sue Rogers, 80 Years, of Bonnie, Illinois, passed away at 8:00 am January 10, 2021 at her residence in Bonnie, Illinois. Mrs. Rogers stayed at home and took care of her children by being active in their sports, clubs, and hobbies. She enjoyed woodworking and making wreaths for around the house. She loved raising her Pomeranians. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. A Graveside Service will begin at 2:00 pm. Inurnment will follow. Linda met Stewart Gene Rogers in college at SIU and they married on June 24, 1961 in Jonesboro, Illinois. In addition to her husband of nearly sixty years, Linda is survived by her children, Crystal Lynch and husband, Bill, Greg Rogers and wife, Shannon, Pamela Page and husband, Garrett; grandchildren, Jason Duncan, Kyle Duncan, Bradley Duncan and wife, Laura, Derek Tepovich and wife, Jamie, Matthew Rogers, Gabriel Page and special friend, Haley; great-grandchildren, Brayden Duncan, Mila Tepovich, Graham Tepovich; and sister, Jean Hill and husband, Larry.
She was born January 3, 1941 in Jonesboro, Illinois to the late Harry and Maldetta (Batson) Moore. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brothers, Bob Moore and John “Jay” Daniel Moore.
