State Conservation Police arrested 20-year-old Zachary Baezer of Mulberry Grove for being a child sex offender in a public park. He was taken into custody at Forbes State Park. Baezer was brought to the Marion County Jail and later released on a notice to appear in court.
41-year-old Travis Finley of Fairydale Road in Odin was arrested early Monday morning for aggravated assault and reckless conduct. Finley is accused of throwing something against a passing semi on US 51 south of Fairman Road. The item was not found by responding sheriff’s deputies. The truck driver said it sounded like a brick.
30-year-old John Phillips of East McMackin in Salem was arrested by Salem Police for driving on a suspended license and unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver. He was later released on a notice to appear in court.
State Police arrested Devin Walker of Streator for driving on a suspended license. He was released on a notice to appear in court.
