Timothy James “TJ” Hughey, 37, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away January 8, 2021, at SSM Health Saint Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, Illinois.
TJ was a member of Old Union Missionary Baptist Church. He loved church and to sing, but most of all, TJ loved his family. He was dearly loved and will be missed by those who knew and adored him.
A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, January 10, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Egbert Cemetery in Bluford, Illinois with Reverend Ralph Wilton officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Timothy’s honor to the Murray Developmental Center. Please remember to observe social distancing at this time. We are limited to 10 people under our tent at a time. He was born June 11, 1983, in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Delbert and Sharon “Sherry” (Haynes) Hughey.
In addition to his parents, TJ is survived by his siblings, Danny Hamilton, Mark Hamilton, Jarrett Winter, Debbie Bowers, Bethany Anderson, Sabrina Shun, and Jerri Dawn Mick.
TJ was preceded in death by his siblings, Rhonda Hamilton, and Susan Diane Hughey.
