Joyce Ann White, 60, of DuBois, Illinois, passed away at 2:15 am December 9, 2020 at Friendship Manor Health Care Center in Nashville, Illinois. Joyce worked at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon for many years and retired as Assistant Supervisor of Payroll. She was a member of Ten Post Oak Baptist Church in Keenes, Illinois.
A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 1:30 pm at Knob Prairie Cemetery in Waltonville, Illinois with Reverend Tom Elliston officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Joyce’s honor to the American Diabetes Association. Please remember to observe social distancing at this time. We are limited to 10 people under the tent at a time. Joyce married Terry White on March 29, 1980. In addition to her beloved husband of forty years, Joyce is survived by her son, Erien White and wife, Hailey of DuBois, Illinois; daughter, Elyse Coil and husband, Dyllon of Salem, Illinois; granddaughter, Rebecca White; sisters, Peggy Dietz and husband, Steve of Bluford, Illinois, Ruby Green and husband, Max Dee of Fairfield, Illinois, Janet Schumm and husband, John of Bluford, Illinois; brother, Carl Youngblood and wife, Merna of Bluford, Illinois; sisters-in-laws, Stacey Little, Sharon White and special friend, Julia Wagner; and several nieces and nephews.
She was born September 21, 1960 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Marsh and Marjorie (Braddy) Youngblood. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Curtis and Dorothy White.
