The SI Bandits 14u finished 4-2 over the weekend dropping their finale yesterday to the SI Aftershock 8-0. Emma Gregg had 2 hits in the loss. Breanna Thurman was the losing pitcher allowing 10 hits and 7 earned runs in the complete game. The Bandits opened Saturday with a 7-5 loss to the SC Storm. Gregg doubled, scored and drove in a run. Thurman also had a hit. The Bandits opened Sunday with a 17-4 win over Mascoutah. Thurman had a hit and drove in 2, Gregg went 2-3 with a double and drove in a run with 2 runs scored. They also shutout Bluff City 2-0. Thurman had a hit and was the winning pitcher allowing no earned runs and just 7 hits in 6 innings.
The SI Fuzion 12u went 3-2 over the weekend. They opened Saturday with a 6-5 win over the Kentuckiana Eclipse. Taylor Bloomer drove in 3 runs to lead the Fuzion. Arwyn Wilkey also drove in a run with Laney Slife. They beat the Wabash Mission 6-2. Wilkey drove in a pair on a double and scored a run. That was followed by a Fuzion 6-0 win over the Viking Elite. Bloomer and Kenzie Wilkerson drove in 2 with RBI also from Audrina Sloan and Lauren Baine. The Fuzion then opened Sunday with a 12-1 loss to the Kentucky Chrome. Sloan drove in the loan Fuzion run with an over-the-fence home-run. They were then eliminated with a 7-0 loss to the Kentuckiana Eclipse.
