Marilyn Reed, 67, of Richwood, TX, formerly of Centralia, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Private Family Services for Marilyn Reed will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. She married John Reed on October 16, 1971 in Centralia, and he survives her after 49 years of marriage. In addition to her husband John, she is survived by one son: Blaine Reed of Hinsdale, IL; one daughter: Rachel Reed of Richwood, TX; one granddaughter: Addison Beard of San Marcos, TX; one brother: Ken Matousek and wife Nancy of Peoria, IL; six nephews; and two nieces.
Marilyn was born September 20, 1953 in Centralia, the daughter of Lawrence “Larry” Matousek and Ann (Miller) Matousek. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents: Larry and Ann Matousek; and one sister: Jan Payne.
