Shawn Cornman, 43, of Centralia, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at his home.
Shawn enjoyed spending time with his family and buddies. He also enjoyed fishing and barbequing.
Per Shawn Cornman’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no public services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family with checks payable to James Mitchell and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618)532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Cornman Family. Shawn was born December 5, 1977, in Fenton, MO, the son of Shawn Mitchell and Sandra Cornman.
Shawn is survived by his father: Shawn Mitchell of Decatur; two brothers: Scott Cornman of Decatur and James Mitchell and wife Dena of Centralia; one sister: April Weston and husband Kevin of Decatur; one half-sister: Ashley Mitchell of Decatur; best friends: Clint and Wes; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Shawn was preceded in death by his mother: Sandra Cornman, grandmother: Peggy Dillon, one uncle: Rick Mitchell, two aunts: Tammy Scaggs and Bonnie Jones, and one cousin: Shayna Mitchell.
