Willie J. Green, 77, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 6:21 pm August 2, 2021 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Willie married Ella (Brandon) Green on December 8, 2002. In addition to his beloved wife, Willie is survived by his son, Darren Green; daughter, Kim Green; stepdaughter, April Disroe (Darryl); sister, Susan Diane Green; brother, Donald Green; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.
He was born December 23, 1943 in Carbondale, Illinois to Willie and Bertha Green. Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Bertha Green; two sisters; and five brothers.Mr. Green was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where he served as assistant Pastor.
