Cindy Slone, age 67 of Sandoval, passed away on August 2, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, IN. Cindy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. One of her most recent highlights was her trip to Texas to visit with one of her best friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Harvey’s Point Cemetery in Kell with Rick Pearce officiating. Survivors include her three children, Andrew “Andy” Slone and fiancé Rena of Missouri, Bridget Calahan of Sandoval, and Phillip “Mike” Slone and wife Kristina of Sandoval; six grandchildren, Cheyenne Slone and special friend Sean Gaul, Preston Slone, Andrew Slone, Brett Calahan, Rafale Calahan, and Jace Slone; two great-grandchildren, Sophya Lowry and OakLee Gaul; two sisters, Betty “Genie” White and husband Sonny of New York and Naiomi “Kitty” Beasley of New York; and half-siblings, Douglas “Doug” Crawford and wife Marcy of New York, Sheilah “Shelly” Atkins of New York, and Tony Crawford and wife Karen of Ohio.
Cindy was born on August 11, 1953, in Albany, New York, the daughter of Alfred “Gene” Beasley and Barbara “Barb” Crawford. She married Phillip “Phil” Slone and he preceded her in death.
