Audrey Turner, 95, of Salem, Illinois passed away July 30, 2021, at Salem Township Hospital in Salem.
A homemaker, she had worked for Brown Shoe Co., in Salem, for several years, and retired from Douglas Dunhill, Oak Forrest, IL.
A simple cremation was chosen. Private family burial will be at the East Lawn Cemetery in Salem. There will be no public visitation. Memorials may be made to the Donor’s choice and will be accepted by the Sutherland – Rankin Funeral Home, 310 N. Broadway, P.O. Born April 8, 1926, in Marion County, Illinois, she was the daughter of Fred R. and Esther (Wright) Holler who preceded her in death.
She united in marriage with Harold Loyde Turner, and he preceded her in death on December 1, 1970.
Surviving are her children, David Turner and wife Kim of Old Hickory, TN, and Karen Young and husband Larry of Salem, IL., along with four grandchildren Chris (Cori) Young of Salem, Jen (Clint) Hemann of Albers, IL, Jamie (Sam) Morris and Heather (Chad) Douglas, both of Hermitage, TN. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
