Lloyd Edward Britton, 64, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 4:45 pm July 24, 2021, at Kindred Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Lloyd proudly served his country in the United States Navy and later worked as a mechanist. He is dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

He was born June 18, 1957, in Norway, Michigan to Ned George and Linda (Parish) Britton. Lloyd married Sabrine (Witte) Britton on August 15, 1981, in Wheeling, Illinois and she survives in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
In addition to his beloved wife of nearly forty years, Lloyd is survived by his mother, Linda Britton of Wilson, Michigan; two sons, Christopher Lloyd Britton and Daniel Lee Britton, both of Mount Vernon, Illinois; daughter, Lynn Christophersen and husband, Adam; five grandchildren, Rylee Jaye Britton, Norah Jeanne Britton, Joel Evan Britton, Aubrey Joy Britton, and Adalyn Bell Christophersen; two brothers, Alan Britton and wife, Susie of Wilson, Michigan and Edward Britton of Kenosha, Wisconsin; three sisters, Annette Felter of Powers, Michigan, Joann Relken and husband, Kenny of Carney, Michigan and Veronica Jacques and husband, Dave of Stephenson, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his father, Ned George Britton; brother, Ned Ned Britton; and brother-in-Law, Dennis Felter.
