Georgianna P. Pavisich, 85, of Mount Vernon, IL, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away at 3:20 p.m. June 28, 2021 at her residence in Mt. Vernon, IL. Georgianna was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Club Solta and the Mount Vernon Moose Club. She worked at Walgreens as a cashier. Georgianna loved collecting anything related to elephants. She also loved playing bingo, uno, and puzzles. She especially loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Georgianna will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 5:00 P.M.to 8:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois . A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11:00 P.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park, Illinois. Interment will follow. She is survived by daughter, Charlotte Wells of Mt. Vernon, IL; two sons, Henry Fred Wulf (Kelly) of Mt. Vernon, IL and James Joseph Wulf of Rockdale, IL; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one brother, Richard Dufek of Midlothian, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
Georgianna P. Pavisich was born in Chicago, IL to the late Philomena Tesarik. Georgianna married The late Michael Pavisich on June 8, 1973 in Chicago, IL. They were blessed with nearly 36 years of marriage until Michael preceded her in death on Febuary 1, 2009. Georgianna was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, son, Michael “Mike” Pavisich; brother, Stephen Tesarik; one grandchild; and one great grandchild. She attended St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
