Audrey Mae Kibler, 81, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 9:38 am June 19, 2021 at her home. Audrey worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Mount Vernon Countryside Manor and other various nursing homes over the years. She is loved dearly by her many family and friends and will be sorely missed.
A Visitation will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 11:00 am at Newell Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. Audrey is survived by her son, Michael Hamilton and wife, Susan of Mount Vernon, Illinois; daughter, Tasha Adams and husband, Anthony of Mount Vernon, Illinois; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Arnold Todd of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was born February 12, 1940 in Saint Louis, Missouri to the late Ollie Todd and Rosie Lee (Wade) Todd. Audrey married Lee Floyd Kibler on April 6, 1965 in Elgin, Illinois and he preceded her in death on October 20, 2011. In addition to her parents and beloved husband of forty-six years, Audrey was preceded in death by her son, Lee Floyd Kiblerr, II and granddaughter, Inita Thomas.
