Leatha Marie Lane, 54, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 3:00 pm June 23, 2021 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. Leatha loved her children natural or adopted. Her family was her world and she will be greatly missed.

She was born August 4, 1966 in Los Angeles, California to the late Fred Morgan and Helen Funkhouser Teets. Leatha married Allen Lane on November 23, 1983 in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
In addition to her loving husband of thirty-seven years, Leatha is survived by son, Allen Lane Jr. and significant other, Kevin Helm of Brownstown, Illinois; daughters, Amanda Lane of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Andrea Lane of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Amber Rivera and husband, Eric of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Natosha Lane of Centralia, Illinois; ten grandchildren; brothers, Robert Manley of Salem, Illinois, John Manley and wife, Lynn of Kentucky, Billy Manley of Salem, Illinois,; sister, Mary Mae McCarthy of Centralia, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
