Quintin Charles Fletcher, 30, of Irvington, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Quintin graduated from Central City Grade School, Centralia High School and Kaskaskia College Automotive Tech School. He worked at Holzhauers in Nashville for three years. He enjoyed participating and watching demolition derbies, racing cars and tinkering on anything and everything.
Quintin was a family man and loved spending time with his children, family and friends.
Funeral Services for Quintin Charles Fletcher will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. Friends may call Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In addition to his wife, Chelsea Fletcher of Irvington, he is also survived by parents: James Lee Fletcher and wife Donna of Pinckneyville and Mary Knepp of Centralia; his children: Ryelin Mathew Fletcher and Brettlyn Wray Fletcher both of Irvington; his brother: Branden Fletcher of Centralia; his sister: Justine Fletcher of Centralia; several nieces and nephews: Kingston Fletcher, Ellie Fletcher, June Davis, Leila Rye, Brylee Keller, Kynlee Rye and Addy Rye; brothers-in-law: Justin Rye of Centralia and Aaron Rye of Tuscola; grandparents: James Fletcher and wife Cora Lee of Salem, Marilyn Fletcher of Centralia, and Warren and Annette Knepp of Odin; father-in-law: Scott Rye of Flora, Mississippi; mother-in-law: Virginia Hodge of Central City; several aunts and uncles: Tim Fletcher of Centralia, Kim Schweda of Centralia, Luke Wallis of Centralia, Gwen Beasley of Centralia, Warren Knepp of North Carolina, Ruby Berry of Richview, Cathy Schremp of Missouri, Art Knepp of Missouri, Ronnie Kirgan of Centralia and Dorothy Bonner of Centralia; special friends: Ethan Correll, Tyler Barrall, Josh Black, Jon Lyons, Chad and Trish Knolhoff, and Kristen and Adam Feig.
He was born September 1, 1990 in Centralia, son of James Lee Fletcher and Mary Knepp. He married Chelsea Rye on November 9, 2019 and she survives in Irvington. Quintin was preceded in death by his grandparents: Caroline Finney and Dean Finney, great-grandparents, and special friend Dalton Osterman.
