Joyce Elaine Ferguson, 70 of Centralia, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at her home. Joyce drove a school bus for Beck Bus Services in Centralia for many years. She also worked at Frazier Manor and was a homemaker. She loved crocheting, reading books and traveling. Joyce cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
Leroy Ferguson, 83, of Centralia, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 at his home. Leroy worked at Swan for 25 plus years. He enjoyed gardening, mowing his yard, and doing odd jobs in construction. Leroy cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service for Joyce and Leroy will be held Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 3:00 PM at the Patoka Pentecostal Church in Patoka. Joyce and Leroy are survived by three children: Donna Clark of Centralia, Joyce LeAnn Pritchard and husband Larry of Sandoval, and Leroy Ferguson, II and wife Melissa of Gurdon, Arkansas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Joyce’s mother: Alma Hull of Sandoval; Joyce’s two brothers: Harold Hull of Sandoval, Herbert Hull and wife Micky of Coral Springs, Florida; Joyce’s sister: Gladys Mays George and husband Allan George of Patoka; Leroy’s brother and sister; several nieces and nephews.
Joyce was born February 6, 1951 in Chatsworth, the daughter of Harold Hull and Dalena (Gumm) Hull. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, three sons: Tracy Burchell, Baby Burchell, and David Burchell, a daughter: Kelly Joe Burchell, and three brothers.
Leroy was born January 2, 1938 in Woodlawn, the son of William Ferguson and Anna (Williams) Ferguson. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Joyce and Leroy were married on May 10, 1976 and they recently celebrated their 45th Wedding Anniversary.
