Beverly June (Bagwell) Huff, 92, began her heavenly journey on February 21, 2021.
She was born November 8, 1928, in Carterville, Illinois to Ernest and Clara Bagwell, joining her two brothers: Ernest, Jr. and Gene.
While attending McKendree College, she met a feisty basketball player who asked if she wanted to hear a joke. Her reply was, “You’re the biggest joke I know!” Married June 4, 1947, she and Dale P. Huff celebrated 66 years together until his passing in 2014. Beverly had a menagerie of talents. She taught English, physical education, thespians, and art to students in middle and high school. She was an avid crafter and master card designer. She and Dale enjoyed years of camping adventures, splitting their time between Illinois and Arizona.
An 11:00 a.m. memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the East Hickory Hill Cemetery, Bluford, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to a charity of your choice. Please remember to observe social distancing at this time.
