Barbara Mansker, 78 of Central City, IL passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. Barbara had worked at Brown Shoe Company, Littelfuse, and as a cook, but spent most of her life as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, traveling, attending auctions, collecting antiques, sewing, quilting, and cooking.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. Visitation will be on Monday, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery in Alma. Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. She is survived by her sister, Tami Wilkins; brother, Larry Miller; children, Debbie Robbins and husband Alan of Belle Rive, Greg Mansker of St Elmo, Chris Mansker of Central City, and Chad Mansker and wife Madeline of Makanda; grandchildren, Darrin Griffin, Zach Griffin, Jamie Mansker, Wesley Mansker, Jake Mansker, Shane Mansker, Derrick Mansker, Jarrod Mansker, Michela Mansker, Cory Latner, Christian Ceretto, Lindsey Mansker, Austin Mansker, Rylie Mansker, Charlie Mansker and numerous great grandchildren.
She was born in Salem, IL on February 11,1943. Barbara had a long marriage to Robert Mansker, getting married on July 19, 1958 in Odin and he survives in Central City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nora and Charles Miller, brother, Steven Miller; sister, Patti Gallatin; children, Robbie Mansker and Tony Mansker; and grandchildren, Eric Griffin, Michael Mansker, Devin Mansker, and Vincent Mansker.
