Brooke (Hamilton) Wrzesinski, 41, of Woodlawn, Illinois, passed away at 10:59am May 27, 2021 at her home. Brooke currently worked for the Illinois Department of Human Services as a Social Worker. She previously worked as the Program Director for Spero Family Services, a job she loved and was very proud of. Brooke was a former Prom Queen and full of life, delighting in a variety of activities from swimming to music. More than anything, she was a loving mother who devoted herself to her children. She was of the Christian faith, is deeply loved by her family and friends, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A Visitation will be held Friday, June 4, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Brooke’s honor to the Wrzesinski Boys in the care of Jeff Wrzesinski. Please remember to observe social distancing at this time. Brooke was married to Jeff Wrzesinski and he survives. Brooke is survived by her mother, Carla Hamilton of Woodlawn, Illinois; two sons, Isaac Wrzesinski and Ezekiel “Zeke” Wrzesinski, both of Radom, Illinois; two aunts; one uncle; and several cousins.
She was born March 1, 1980 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Tim and Carla (Clark) Hamilton. Brooke was preceded in death by her father, Tim Hamilton.
