Ross M. Houser, age 38 of Salem, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Salem Township Hospital.
Ross worked in advertising and marketing for many years. He was a member of the Kinmundy Masonic Lodge #398 and the Salem Elks Lodge. He enjoyed cars, traveling, and being with his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children and can be left at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements. Ross was born on January 4, 1983, in Centralia, IL the son of Michael and Patricia (Bryan) Houser. He married Kati Elliston on January 2, 2019, and she survives in Salem.
In addition to his wife, Kati Elliston-Houser, he is survived by two step-sons, Hunter and Tanner Elliston of Salem, niece, Lauren Houser; nephew, Leo Houser; brother-in-law, Sam Elliston IV of Salem; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sam Elliston III and Marian Elliston of Bunceton, MO; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Houser; mother, Patricia Bland; one brother, Brandon Lee Houser; and grandparents, William and Shirley Bryan, and Wayner and Violet Houser.
