David L. Webb, 66, of Centralia, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. David worked as a coal miner for 38 1/2 years for Freeman Coal. He loved to deer hunt, go fishing, and simply being outdoors. He loved his mother and family.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia. Graveside Services for David L. Webb will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Odin with Brother Gowdy Cannon. Burial will follow in Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Odin, IL. He is survived by his significant other: Cindy M. Dailey of Centralia. David is also survived by his mother: Ella Webb of Sesser, IL; his three children: Tara Roberts and husband Craig of Tennessee, Jamie Parsell and husband Lyman of Tennessee, and Chad Webb of Tennessee; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one brother: Danny L. Webb and wife Patricia of Sesser; two sisters: Cynthia Rhoads and husband Jay of Sesser, IL and Beth Ann Winget and husband Mike of Mulkeytown, IL; several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
David was born February 8, 1955 in Kankakee, IL, the son of Cecil L. Webb and Ella (Wingo) Webb. David was preceded in death by his father Cecil L. Webb.
