Eula M. Quarterman, age 74 of Kell, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Eula was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed the company of her siblings and family.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Sean Hicks officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service. Burial will be in Zion Grove Cemetery in Kell. Memorials can be made to the family and can be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem. She is survived by eight siblings, Otto Hicks and wife Ruth of LaSalle, Jim Hicks and wife Connie of Mt. Vernon, Kathy Arnold of Woodlawn, Helen Meadows and husband Billy of Salem, Christine Clary and fiancé Bruce of Dix, Cindy Dugan and husband Bill of Central City, John Hicks of Kell, and Mary Hicks and friend Tom Stroud of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.
Eula was born on February 25, 1947 in Mt. Vernon the daughter of Earl and Dorothy (Brigman) Hicks. She married William Benjamin “Benny” Quarterman and he preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Charles Hicks, Bill Hicks, Richard Hicks, Barbara Owens and husband Frank; and brother-in-law, Lynn Arnold.
