Anna J. Russell, age 75 of Salem, passed away on Saturday May 22, 2021 at her home. Anna was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Salem. She was a machine operator and binder at World Color Press.

Funeral services for Anna J. Russell will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Larry Shelton officiating. There will be a visitation on Tuesday from 12:30 until the time of the service. Chapel services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 27, at the Louisville Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Crestwood, KY. Memorial contributions can be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund and can be left at the Crouse Funeral Home who is assisting the family with arrangements. Survivors include her children, Penny Odle and husband David of Crestwood, KY and Adam Minton of Clarkston, KY; step children, Donna Russell, Karen King and husband John, Donald L. Russell Jr., David Russell and wife Wendy, and John Henry Russell and wife Diane all of Louisville, KY; half-sister, Kimmy Thomas of KY; sister in-law: Wanda Robertson of KY; grandchildren, Amber Minton, David Minton and wife Peggy, Deidre Stevenson and husband Adam, Caleb W.T. Odle, and Breanna Potter; step grandchildren, Tara Beam and husband Tony, Gena Russell and husband Robin, Sara Russell, Travis Russell and wife Shaina, Donnie Russell III, and Maryann Russell; several great grandchildren, several friends, and extended family members.

Anna was born on January 12, 1946 in Russell County, Kentucky the daughter of Hulon and Darlene (Gaskin) Robertson. She married Donald L. Russell on January 10, 1981 in Kinmundy, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on November 23, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald; 2 brothers, Danny Gail Robertson and Ronnie Dale Robertson; grandson Adam Dale Minton Jr.; and a step grandson, David Russell Jr.
