Michael B. Cunningham, 79, of Centralia, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021, at his home. Michael had served in the United States Marine Corps in his younger years. He will be remembered for his big heart. He and his wife have been friends for 45 years. They enjoyed singing Karaoke. He will be remembered for being a charismatic character on the stage.
Per Michael’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no public services will be held at this time. In addition to his wife of 26 years: Claudette Cunningham, Michael is survived by his son: Bill Milafsky of Aurora, CO; one stepson: Jason Haley of California; three grandchildren: Sean Milafsky of Centralia, Lana Haley of California, and Leah Enriquez of Texas; two great-granddaughters: LyLa Enriquez and Kira Enriquez both of Texas; two sisters: Carol Breitweiser of St. Louis, MO and Anne Marie Smith of St. Louis, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Michael was born August 27, 1941, in St. Louis, MO, the son of George W. Cunningham and Hortense (Eberly) Cunningham. He married Claudette Bourgeanult on January 3, 1995, and she survives him in Centralia. Michael was preceded in death by his parents: George and Hortense Cunningham and one brother: David Cunningham.
