The Good Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary has donated $54,000 to the SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital Cancer Care Program. It is part of the group’s four year pledge.

While 2021 presented some unique challenges for the auxiliary, the annual Cancer Care pledge was achieved through several fundraisers held throughout the year, the operation of the in-house Gift Shop and the auxiliary’s Bargain Box Thrift Shop located on South Then Street in Mt. Vernon.

The auxiliary is hopeful that the remainder of the on-going Cancer Care pledge can be completed by the end of 2022.
