Crossroads Specialty Clinic in Mt. Vernon has announced the addition of two general surgeons. Dr. Scott Harad and Dr. Kevin Claffey are both well-known in the community and look forward to being back in Mt. Vernon.
Dr. Harad is a board-certified in general surgery and focuses on the patient’s needs to develop individualized treatment plans. Both Dr. Harad and Dr. Claffey completed medical school and residency at Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
General surgeons often receive referrals from primary care providers to help treat common and often painful issues such as GERD, gallbladder problems, hernias, and hemorrhoids. Some of the conditions can be treated laparoscopically using minimally invasive surgical techniques, resulting in less pain, minimal scarring, and hopefully a faster recovery.

Crossroads Specialty Clinic will now have four general surgeons. Dr. Dalencourt and Dr. Miller also practice at the clinic located at 209 Crossroads Place in Mt. Vernon.
