The owner of the Avon Center in the 600 block of South Poplar in Centralia apparently spent several days on the floor after falling earlier this week.
She was located after Central City Police heard a woman screaming for help after trying to gain entry to the store on an unrelated case around noon Friday.
Centralia Police and Fire, along with Life Star Ambulance, responded to the scene to assist. Firefighters gained access to the building, and Life Star Ambulance took the woman to the hospital for treatment.
The shop owner’s name has not been released.
