The Odin Fire Department answered 287 calls in 2021.
Odin Fire Chief Greg Smith says the bulk of the calls, 219, were for emergency medical service as the department served as the first responder to many medical calls.
There were seven structure fires, two vehicle fires, and four vegetation fires. Property damage from fires during the year was $65,050. There were no fire deaths.
The fire department answered 38 calls for mutual aid and received mutual aid five times.
There were also three good intent calls and three smoke or odor scares.
