The Salem Wildcats are back at home tonight when they host 8th ranked Breese Central. The Wildcats are 9-8 on the season and coming off a tight win over Roxana last Friday night. The Salem Freshmen dropped their home game with Freeburg 47-44 last night. The Cats had the ball with 5 seconds left, but after a timeout couldn’t get a good look at the game tying shot.
Last night in prep boys hoops, Vandalia fell to Maryville Christian 67-63, Mattoon 55-45 over Mahomet, Mt Zion big over Charleston 84-68, Pana beat Nokomis 48-38 and Taylorville over Effingham 36-34.
