The Centralia Orphans gave it their all against Columbia Saturday night, winning 45-38. Kolby Wilmoth led the Orphans with 17 points along with Davin Tabor who added 14. Sam Donald was the leading scorer for Columbia with 15 points. Glenn Powers added 10. The Orphans, who are now 13-2, host Althoff on Friday, January 14th at 6:00 P.M.
The Annies also brought home a win yesterday after taking down Herrin 47-35. Kalei Edson was Centralia’s lead scorer with 18 points followed by her sister Rylee Edson with 17. Presli Karnes led Herrin with 19 points. Madisyn Blankenship added 6.
The Salem Lady Cats faced an unfortunate loss against Olney/Richland County yesterday, losing 51-44. The Lady Cats were led by Alesia Keller with 20 points and 13 rebounds, followed by Katelyn Biegeleisen with 13 points and Emma Gregg with 11. Richland County was led by Grayce Burgener and Kenzie Weiler, each with 12 points.
