The Salem Wildcats will open up Cahokia Conference play tonight when they travel to Breese Central to take on the Cougars. Salem is 3-2 coming off 2 wins at the Capital Classic as well as beating Newton on Tuesday night in the Cats home opener. Central is 3-0 after winning the title at the St Anthony Tournament over Teutopolis 31-29 their last time out.

At DuQuoin tonight, Cairo and Red Bud start the night followed by West Frankfort and DuQuoin.
At Goreville last night, Hardin County beat Johnston City 52-49, Benton over Anna 71-40 and Hamilton County over Goreville 56-54. Tonight, Johnston City takes on Goreville at 5:30, Hardin County and Anna at 7 and then at 8:30 it’s Benton and Hamilton County.
Tonight at Trico/Murphysboro, Lovejoy takes on Chester, Murphysboro takes on Lovejoy, Carterville takes on Sparta and Trico plays Steeleville.
