This weekend is the annual Greater Salem Area Foundation’s Meet the Wildcats Basketball Showcase. It will be held Saturday at B.E. Gum after a year hiatus. Doors open to the public at 4pm. The Lady Cats take the floor in a scrimmage at 4:30; the Wildcats will play at 6:15.
The SCHS Dance Team and Cheerleaders will also perform. Between games, area grade school teams will be introduced.
The Meet the Wildcats night is a fundraising event to benefit the mission of the Foundation, which is to provide financial and material assistance to residents of the Salem High district who are experiencing hardships.
