Franklin Park opened up their basketball season with a 49-17 win over North Wamac/Irvington/Grand Prairie at the Rend Lake Shootout. Ryegan Warren led Salem with 22.

Patoka lost to Rome 59-38. Brady Cain led Patoka with 16 and Ben Spencer 11.
