Centralia Police say two persons were injured in a crash in downtown Centralia on Thursday morning.

Police reports indicate 31-year-old Rachel Wilson of Richmond Heights Mobile Home Park in Central City was eastbound on Noleman when she ran a red light and ran into the side of a southbound semi on South Poplar that was driven by 41-year-old Joshua Johnson of Mt. Carmel.

Both Wilson and a four-year-old juvenile boy who was a passenger in her SUV were taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries.

The Centralia Fire Department was called to assist the victims.
