The Centralia City Schools Board of Education approved several personnel changes at the regular board meeting on Tuesday. The board accepted the retirements of Kristi Jarvais as Schiller Cook, Donna McMillan as Jordan Cook, and Penny Brooks as Individual Paraprofessional, all effective at the end of the 26-27 school year. Alisha Lewis was transferred to Individual Paraprofessional. Resignations were accepted from Teresa Hutchison as Yearbook Sponsor and Myra Johnson as Bus Monitor. Danielle Holmes was employed as Yearbook Sponsor and Judy Loy was employed as Bus Monitor. Bryce Westbrook was approved as Boys’ Basketball Volunteer.
Members of the transportation committee reported that the process has begun to search for purchasing new school buses to replace some of the current fleet.
The board approved this year’s risk management plan, which has no significant changes from the previous year.
