A 31-year-old Salem man was injured in a single pick-up truck crash on the Kinmundy Road near Prairie Road intersection Saturday night.
State Police say a preliminary investigation indicates Sean Wimberly of Deer Path Drive was traveling southbound when he passed another vehicle, lost control, left the roadway, and overturned.
Emergency personnel at the scene indicated the Wimberly pickup rolled after leaving the pavement and ended up coming to rest on the passenger side.
Wimberly was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Wimberly was ticketed for driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
The crash occurred just a short distance away from the fatal one-vehicle crash late Friday night.
The crash occurred at 8:15 Saturday night. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies, Kinmundy-Alma Fire Department and EMTs, and United Medical Response assisted at the scene.
