SC finished off their regular season last night with a 13-0 win over CHBC winning their 6th straight game. Anthony Bnaura worked the first 3 innings for the Cougars allowing just 1 hit and nothing else. He struck out 8. Spencer Johannes and Brandt Hiestand also each worked an inning. At the plate, Buonaura and Beau Jolliff each drove in 3 runs, Johannes and Chase Thompson had 2 RBI each with an RBI from Aidan Dodson as well. Jolliff, Buonaura and Johannes all homered in the game.
The National Trail Baseball Tournament bracket is set. Today will be a play-in game between Dieterich and Neoga with the winner getting top-seed North Clay who enters the tournament 8-0 in the league and 23-1 overall. Also Monday, South Central will host Altamont in the 4-5 matchup, 2nd seed St Anthony takes on CHBC and the 3rd seed Windsor/Stew Stras opens up with Brownstown/St Elmo.
