Wednesday the KC Sports Association named former Blue Devil baseball coach Larry Smith a Director Emeritus! Smitty has been on the board of the KCSA since its inception in 2003! Several current players attended and Smitty was giving them advice, telling Chuck Hawley stories and overall entertaining everyone. Also attending was his son Darin, daughter Angie Kruse and her husband Doug as well as Lisa Clatterbuck, Dr. Susan Batchelor and Coach Mitch Koester. Special thanks to the staff at Cedarhurst for the warm welcome and the delicious cake.
