Former South Central high school and junior high softball coach Gary Kapper is now at Robinson Nuttall Middle School as they just started a softball team this year. Coach Kapper has his team in the IESA Class 2a State Tournament this weekend in Normal. The team is currently 16-1, winning the Lawrenceville regional beating Marshall 3-1. Marshall was the only team to defeat them early in the season 3-2 in 9 innings. Robinson then beat Newton 11-0 to win the Casey Sectional. They will play tomorrow at noon against Glasford Illini Bluffs.
