The Salem Lady Cats golf team improved to 6-1 knocking off visiting Effingham on the front 9 of the Salem Country Club 205-209. Kenzie Anderson was medalist shooting 42 followed by Alyssa Paul 49, Mak Mann and Maya Susmena each shot 57.
Christ Our Rock competed at Governor’s Run yesterday against Freeburg and Wesclin. The Stallions came away with a win shooting 171, Freeburg 175 and Wesclin 194. Parker Boehne was medalist shooting a 2-under, 34. Ajay Quick added 43, Matthew Slover 46 and John Rincker 48. Leading Freeburg was Brice Kerr 41 and Wesclin was Hayden Hoerchler 46.
