Selmaville took Monday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 7-6 walk-off win over Trinity Hoffman in 8 innings. Carter Lowe drove in the game-winning run on a 2-2 count. Selmaville led 4-0 after three innings, but trailed 6-4 after Hoffman scored 4 runs in their fifth. Also driving in runs for Selmaville, Wyatt McCarty drove in 2 along with Jaxon Ward and Logan Butts. Aaden Rostance worked the first four innings allowing 2 runs, 1 earned with 5 strikeouts. Lowe worked the final four with 9 strikeouts and 2 hits allowed.
Franklin Park held on to win a wild game at Casey Mt Vernon 20-11. Evan Barnes led Salem with 4 hits, Keytin Grawe and Colton Rogers had 3 hits each. Landen Maxey finished with 2 hits and Eli Lograsso and Brody Collier had hits as well.
SC finished their regular season at 19-1 following their 4-3 win over Altamont yesterday. Trevan Sidwell started for SC and worked 4 innings allowing 3 runs on 4 hits. Chase Guerrettaz worked the final 3 innings allowing no hits and struck out 3. At the plate, Sidwell went 2-3 with 2 RBI with Guerrettaz adding the other RBI. Colt Cartright had the other SC hit. SC will open up their post season at the Teutopolis regional as the 2 seed when they host Brownstown to Farina Park at 4:15 tomorrow.
Raccoon/Kell beat Iuka 11-2. Michael Organ homered, doubled and drove in 2 runs. CJ Allison added a double going 3-4 with 3 RBI, Jarett Rushing tripled going 2-3 and scored 3 runs. Drake Rector and John Organ also drove in 2 runs.
